We can easily define marriage as a social contract between a male and a female to live together, fulfill each others sexual needs and beget children. If I ask whether marriage is necessary then everyone of you may have something different to say. I personally would say "a faithful servant is better than a hypocrite wife." So you can understand its necessity. Now when the article is being written then my country India is governed by a president who is a bachelor, The prime minister is in close match with him and the leader of the opposition is a widow. My beloved singer Lata Mangaskar haven't tasted marriage. On the other hand Einstein kept relations with many and even went to the extent of keeping sexual relation with his wife's daughter. You might be thinking me a hypocrite. I feel I should get a slap in my hand for not letting you know the positive side of marriage. We are in a world goverened by humans (of course recent findings tell us that aliens sometimes govern us, but let us keep them aside as even the scientists are in two minds.) The present population has crossed the six billion figure. It proves that more than 99% human marries. So we the clever humans have found it fruitful to marry. Marriage makes us complete because we find a friend in our husband/wife. We humans cannot survive alone. We are a social being. Moreover it helps in our older ages when we may fell deserted by others. It helps to beget child who keeps us alive by his love.
